Miranda Taylor Cosgrove,
known worldwide for Miranda Cosgrove was born on May 14, 1993 in Los Angeles,
California. At age 3, Miranda was discovered while singing and dancing in a
restaurant, an agent saw her talent and immediately became interested in the
little girl. Then she started doing several commercial advertisements as for
the fast-food chains Burger King and McDonalds. Already at 8, Miranda made
her first TV appearance. In 2001 she participated in the first episode of
Smallville series, playing Lana Lang in its infancy. In 2003, Miranda made
her film debut playing the applied and exemplary student Summer Hathaway in
School of Rock, with Jack Black. After his great performance in the movie,
Miranda was invited to participate in the new Nickelodeon series, Drake &
Josh. From 2004 to 2007, she played Megan Parker, the brat sister who loves to
play tricks on his brothers. In 2007, Miranda finally managed to stage a series: iCarly. This talks
about a young woman who, along with his two best friends, make a webshow where
they show and do whatever they like without having to control adults. The
series became the most watched pay TV child and teenager, so the most watched
Nickelodeon. His talent goes beyond acting. Miranda also
has a large and sweet voice, also having a career as a singer. Prior to the
debut of iCarly, Miranda entered the studio to record the theme song of the
series, Leave It All To Me, featuring Drake Bell. In June 2008, Nickelodeon
Records released the iCarly Soundtrack, album with songs inspired the series.
Miranda sings in 4 of the 14 tracks included on the album, which were Leave It
All To Me, Stay My Baby, About You Now and Headphones on. In late 2008 she
recorded the song Christmas Wrapping to promote the film Merry Christmas, Drake
& Josh ! that ended the series.Miranda measures 1.64 and weighs 50 pounds.
