‘’THE KING OF THE POP’’
Michael Jackson was an American recording artist, actor, producer, dancer, businessman, and philanthropist. Often referred to by the honorific nickname"The King of Pop", his contributions to music, dance, and fashion, along with his publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades , he has a solo career.
Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958. He was the eighth of ten children in an African-American working-class family who lived in a 3-room house in Gary, Indiana, an industrial city near Chicago. the eighth child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene along with his brothers as a member of The jacksons 5 in 1968, and began his solo career in 1971. In the early 1980s, Jackson became a dominant figure in popular music. The music videos for his songs, including those of "Beat It’’, "Billie Jean’’, and "Thriller’’, were credited with breaking down racial barriers and with transforming the medium into an art form and promotional tool. The popularity of these videos helped to bring the then-relatively-new television channel MTV to fame.
He was the vocalist of his solo career ( obviously ), He writed his musics and then he was having success with his career. His first hit was ‘’Bilie Jean’’, on 1983 impressing so much people on the earth. He started being famous when he iniciate being the vocalist of 10 years on the band jackson 5 ,with Michael and his brothers.
He had so much money with his shows and music videos then he resolved to donate the money for every place of the world. his distinctive sound and style has influenced numerous hip hop, post-disco, pop, and rock artists. Jackson is one of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. He was also inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame as the first and only dancer from pop and rock music. Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication on June 25, 2009
